This antenna is made from high-grade stainless steel and works best with a ground plane such as the centre of a metal roof or earthed vehicle bullbar.

Stainless Steel antennas are generally capable of handling abusive environments and have a longer lifespan compared to braided fibreglass whips. It is fitted with a standard 27TPI threaded ferrule for easy mounting to a standard 5/16" base.
